archive /ˈɑːkʌɪv/ : A defined place to keep important information, documents or objects.
Archive of Us is an interactive, contemporary archive. A socially engaged project that aims to explore our relationship with objects and our personal connections to them. Archive of Us invites participants to document an object and be part of an ever growing record that builds a picture of who we are & what makes up our individual and collective identities. This public record will be held digitally online and accessible for all. The Archive of Us project asks participants to record, reflect, and re-frame the everyday object, by logging chosen objects for the website and making a small collage memento to take away with them from the documentation.

The goal of this long term project is to expand it to work in a multitude of settings both nationwide and internationally. From museums to galleries and institutions to schools, community centres, and care homes for the elderly. To include as wide a variety of people in terms of backgrounds, ages and heritage; to invite and create moments of reflection, thought, connection and creativity - a place for people to come together to document their objects and share their stories. Come and be part of the Archive of Us.
